Cherryhill Stage 1; Packing Shed is taking shape and it’s rather large…..4800m2 of floor area, to support a beautiful imported 20 lane cherry grader with the highest specification for cooling, cool-rooms, sustainable lighting, water recycling and of course the important truckie’s facilities. The shed was designed to allow for some growth and the clients should be able to significantly increase capacity but it’s quite amazing that most of this floor area is allocated to specific operations already!

Window and door openings were carefully located to take advantage of the incredible views where practicable, although I suspect we could have placed them anywhere as the views along each rolling hillside – planted in neat rows of young cherry trees – towards the surrounding mountains ranges are simply stunning.

The shed will be finished by November ready for a full cherry season, and Stage 2 for the architecturally designed Admin and Main buildings may even commence as early as next year, closely followed by Stage 3 for the full tourist-experience. We love watching the masterplan take shape – will post updates as the shed nears completion.
