canterbury loft

Canterbury Loft is a conversion of the rear of an existing terrace shop in a heritage area near the Maling Road shopping precinct. The newly built elements of this apartment are expressed using an architectural language of expressed steel framing and floating timber screens. An open plan living space and deck is extruded from the gable section of the existing structure, with expressed raking ceilings and soaring clerestory light.

The floor plan layouts are compactly arranged to take advantage of surprisingly spectacular framed views across parkland to the city, and to maximise the area and volume of the spacious upper level living and master suite zone
